The Mount Pinatubo hiking tour is perfect for beginners and seasoned hikers. You will definitely enjoy the one hour 4×4 vehicle ride to the base of this amazing volcano.
The summit is about 7 kilometers from the jump off point and will take trekkers about 2.5 hours to reach the summit. The landscape along the way is just as perfect as what Mother Nature wants it to be. A beauty in destruction.
The trail is a continuous gradual uphill from the trail head. You’ll be passing through several river crossings and boulders. It is an open trail, there are no trees seek cover from the heat of the sun.

Meet up in Makati
Our tour coordinator and driver will meet up with you at KFC-Caltex Gas Station, Buendia Ave. corner Chino Roces, Makati by 2:30 AM. There are restaurants in the area where you can eat breakfast before we leave.

As courtesy to others, please be at the meet up location at least 30 minutes before the departure time. We’ll only allow 10-minute grace period. You can sleep in the car.

Arrival at the trail head. We will register and meet our local guides. We’ll have a short briefing before we commence our activity. We’ll be riding a rented 4×4 vehicle up to the trail head.
There are stores in the area where you can buy bottled water and trail snacks.

Hiking duration from the trail head up to the crater is about 3 hours on average speed. This varies depending on the strength of the group.
There are no stores along the trail so we suggest that you bring your own trail food and hydration. There’s one at the base and at the crater but prices are too high. We suggest you bring enough water and trail food.
Enjoy the view at the crater. We have plenty of photo opportunities there.
Please note that it is prohibited to swim in the crater lake. We’ll have lunch at the crater.
Going back to the trail head will take us about 2.5 hours, approximately. So make sure that you have enough water or hydration.

Arrival at the parking lot / registration area. There are paid shower rooms and rest rooms where you can wash up and change clothes before our return trip to Manila / Makati.

Arrival in Makati / Manila. We can drop you off somewhere along the way so that you don’t need to go back all the way to Makati.
Kindly check your belongings before you leave the vehicle.

No, lunch is not included but a safe budget is around P200 for a good meal with a drink at the jump off point. We recommend that you prepare a packed lunch.
We always recommend hiking shoes with threaded sole for comfort and added confidence on the trails especially for those loose soil and rocks.
Only bring the things you need to save on space. Avoid excess baggage.
